Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to touch base with you all and let you know how much I miss you and how things are going with my recovery.
I have been so touched by all of your thoughts and prayers. It really has meant the world to me to have such an incredibly supportive "team" behind me through this.
Recovery has been much different than I expected. Things I thought would be hard weren't and things I thought would be a breeze, weren't either. I finally feel like I'm rounding the corner to being back on my feet but it has been much slower than I anticipated.
With that being said, I have to ease myself back into salon life.I am not sure what my body will allow as far as re-entry to such a physical job, so I ask for your continued patience and understanding while I take it day by day. I have made a few modifications in my suite that will allow me to sit during some services. Hopefully that will allow me more time in the salon than I could do standing.
All appointment requests will be approved soon. I just don't want to bite off more than I can chew coming back by accepting everything and then possibly having to change it all again if I need more time. I will know much more about what I can handle after my first week back,so if your appointment request has not been approved yet, it will be responded to in plenty of time.
Finally, my first official day back is May 22. The salon phone and email have not been monitored while I have been away but all messages will be responded to with in 48 hours upon my return.
Thank you all again for your support and understanding during this time of recovery. It has been a ride! I have all kinds of entertaining stories to tell you all as soon as we're back together!
