Its Fall Y'all!! Fall Updates, Trends and Important Dates to Remember

Hello, To all my lovely guests! Can you believe it's already Fall? It's time to bring out the sweaters, jackets, and boots and enjoy the crisp air. As the weather cools down, we also enter the busiest and most exciting season of the year. At the salon, I am ready to help you prepare for all your holiday events, whether it's a family gathering, a work party, or a New Year's Eve celebration. To make sure you look your best throughout the season, I wanted to share a few important dates when I will be out of the salon, so you can plan your appointments ahead of time.

First things first, let's talk about the dates that I'll be out of the salon. From October 20th to the 31st, I'll be traveling to Cabo to celebrate my seventh anniversary with Chris. This is a much-needed break for us, but I understand it might be an inconvenience for some of you who were planning to come in during that time. If you haven't booked your appointment yet, please do so soon to avoid disappointment. I'll be back in the salon on November 1st, ready to catch up with all of you.

Speaking of November, the next important date to keep in mind is Thanksgiving. From November 23rd to the 30th, I'll be traveling to South Carolina to spend time with my family, eat lots of turkey, and spend some much needed time with my grandmother. I haven't been able to make it back as much as I would have liked to after my grandfather passed away last year so spending time with her is a big priority for me. If you're planning to attend any holiday gatherings after Thanksgiving, I recommend booking your appointments before I leave. That way, we can make sure you have a fresh haircut, color, or style for your event.

* Can’t wait for an appointment? I completely understand that sometimes, appointments can’t wait. But, don't worry! I have just the right recommendation for you during my absence.

Meet Angie Leeper -

Angie sublets my salon suite on the days that I'm off and uses the same booking software that I do, so securing your appointment with her should be a seamless process for you. Not only is Angie a skilled stylist, but she also has a great personality and regularly receives glowing reviews from her clients. You can visit her website at or email her at to book an appointment.

Now, on to the fun part: Fall hair trends! As the leaves change colors and the air gets cooler, it's natural to feel like changing your hairstyle too. This season, I'm seeing a lot of bold and rich colors such as dark reds, browns, and coppers. Many of you know I've gone darker myself this fall. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also try adding some highlights or lowlights for dimension and depth. As for styles, braids, messy buns, and natural curls are all popular choices. Of course I'm happy to tailor your hairstyle to your individual preferences and features, so don't hesitate to ask me for advice.

Lastly, I want to remind you that the holiday season can get pretty busy, not just for me at the salon but for you too. To make sure you get the appointments you want and on the dates you need, please book in advance. I offer online booking, so you can easily see my availability and choose a time that works for you. My schedule will continue to open on a 30 day rotation so that everyone gets a fair shot at making appointments that work for them so keep your eye peeled for your appointment reminders!

Fall is here, and I'm ready to celebrate it with you at the salon. Whether you want a new haircut, color, or style, we have you covered. Just make sure you plan your appointments in advance and take note of the dates when I'll be out of the salon. From October 20th to the 31st and November 23rd to the 30th, I'll be traveling with my family to celebrate my anniversary and Thanksgiving. But I'll be back and ready to make you look and feel your best. Thank you for choosing By Chelsea Renee Salon & Extension Bar, and let's make this holiday season your best one yet!
